About Me

Me on a veranda somewhere in the Bahamas

Hi there! My name is Jolyon Gray, and I’m a soon-to-be (fingers crossed) graduate of the masters program for Instructional Technology at the University of Tennessee. I’ve been working at the university since 2001, and currently work in information technology for the College of Law.

My wife Arlene is a database administrator for a company here in town. Kieran, my stepson, is 10 and attends Knoxville Montessori School – he’ll be in fifth grade this coming fall. My daughter, Alanna, is 2 1/2 and will be starting preschool at KMS entirely too soon.

Also, as a point of reference, today’s the 8th of June, 2009. Over the course of the next couple months I’ll be developing this site into a sort of aggregation of my IT curriculum – detailing what my goals were when I entered the program, what I’ve picked up along the way, how I hope to apply it in my career.

That said, welcome to my site!
